Expansion and Relocation of Dollarama and Familiprix Stores in the MRC of Maskinongé

Annonce du Familiprix Yamachiche

Louiseville, August 20, 2018 – Over the coming weeks, Francis Bellerive Investment will proceed with the construction of new buildings to relocate Dollarama and Familiprix stores within the Maskinongé Regional County Municipality (MRC).

In Louiseville, the Dollarama store will move to the corner of 9th Avenue and Boulevard Saint-Laurent East. Meanwhile, in Yamachiche, the Familiprix store, owned by pharmacist Marie-Ève Gélinas, will be erected at the corner of Boulevard Sainte-Anne and Boulevard Duchesne. Together, these two projects require an investment of approximately three million dollars from Francis Bellerive Investment.

“I am pleased to invest in the Maskinongé Regional County Municipality, a place to which I am deeply attached. Here, I have sensed that economic development is a priority. Mr. Jean-Frédéric Bourassa and his team at the CLD Maskinongé have done incredible work in promoting the establishment of new businesses in recent years. These efforts now manifest with commercial investments. Moreover, local entrepreneurs will be invited to bid and contribute their expertise to these projects. This will embody true teamwork, which I strongly believe in. We are fortunate that Familiprix and Dollarama have placed their trust in us,” expresses Mr. Francis Bellerive, President of Francis Bellerive Investment.

It is worth noting that construction on both sites will commence on September 4, 2018. The management of these projects has been entrusted to Mr. Simon Julien of Groupe SJ. Furthermore, Francis Bellerive Investment extends its gratitude to the City of Louiseville and the Municipality of Yamachiche for their significant collaboration throughout the progression of these projects.
