Trois-Rivières, September 7, 2022 – Francis Bellerive Investment will soon proceed with the construction of a new building at the corner of Barkoff and De Callières streets in the Cap-de-la-Madeleine area of Trois-Rivières. The two-story building will house the fourth Starbucks location in Trois-Rivières on the ground floor, and the Cap Podiatric Clinic will be relocated to a larger space on the second floor.
The $3.5 million project will be completed in two phases. First, the building currently housing the Cap Podiatric Clinic will be demolished to make way for the new construction. The work has already begun and will be carried out by Francis Bellerive Construction and Simon Julien as the site manager.
Owned by Groupe Brunelle, the new Starbucks café will have an area of 2,710 square feet and is expected to welcome its first customers at the end of November. A drive-thru with a capacity of more than 20 vehicles will also be set up. “Georges Brunelle developed the project with us from the very beginning. I knew his entrepreneurial profile and I knew that with him, we would come up with an exceptional project. He was of great help to us on several occasions when we encountered roadblocks. He always had a solution! I was very happy to work closely with him,” explains promoter Francis Bellerive.
The Cap Podiatric Clinic, owned by Dr. Pierre-Alexandre Tellier, will occupy the second floor of this new building, doubling its current size. During the construction, the clinic will be relocated to a vacant space at Galeries du Cap to continue offering its services to customers.
